CHRISTIAN CURRICULUM

 

Mustard Seed Preschool is one of the ministries of Berkeley Covenant Church.

​

Values such as respect for all people, honesty, generosity, kindness, compassion, authenticity, and forgiveness are built into our expectations as we help children navigate through resolving conflicts, voicing their needs, developing empathy, and becoming independent.

​

Integrated into our circle times and book shelves are songs and stories about God and Jesus. As a school, we celebrate Christmas and Easter with child-appropriate stories of these important events, songs, and big potluck parties! In each class, there’s a prayer song they sing before lunch:

Thank you for the food we eat

Thank you for the birds that sing

Thank you, God, for everything.

Thank you for the mommies to hug so tight.

Thank you for the daddies to kiss goodnight.

Thank you for the people in my family.
