Ages 2.5 Years to 2.11 Years
In the Piglet class, children master solitary and parallel play and the beginnings of associative and interactive play emerge. The curriculum provides an environment that stimulates and fosters curiosity in children through games, songs, and other child developmentally appropriate activities. They learn to take turn, share and build stronger relationships with peers and teachers.
There are daily opportunities to strengthen their fine and gross motor skills. Children develop self-control as they discover that there is freedom/choice within the limits in their environment. This is also the class when children begin the potty training process.
